DEAR ALOHA is a heartfelt story about the profound meaning of aloha through the lens of the Diaspora. Through cinematically lush montages and interviews across three very different landscapes, we see a sprawling story of Hawaiian-ness. The story becomes a reflection of the broader struggle of loss faced by indigenous and diasporic communities worldwide.
